Copper Kopek Coins

Here you can see both sides of a silver 20 kopek coin that was minted in Saint Petersburg in 1871.  It weighed 16.38 grams when issued.

The front has the date (1878), the denomination (5 kopecks) and three letters which stand for St Petersburg Mint.  The rear has writing above the Imperial two headed eagle design.  The words '5 kopecks' are found along the bottom.
